Brief History of the Uganda
Uganda has a population of approximately 45.9 million people, with English and Swahili as the official languages. The economy is primarily based on agriculture, and the country is predominantly Christian (81.7%), with a significant Muslim minority (13.2%). Uganda gained independence from Britain in 1962.
CIYWR in Uganda
As with our other Revival outreaches, we purposely work with local pastors and religious leaders well in advance of our Crusades, during the Revivals, and afterwards. We have found this partnership to be the most effective in winning souls for Jesus Christ and making solid disciples of the new converts. Because of the large area, and population, we have found that we must be very strategic with our resources (both financially and with our time).
“For the Son of man is not come to destroy men’s lives, but to save them.” Luke 9:56

“Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.”
Acts 2: 38,39
