LIBERIA

For the People of LIBERIA ✝ For the Gospel

“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He hath believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth shall not be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; an if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. So then after the Lord spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen” Marck 16:15-20 (KJV)
Brief History of Liberia There are almost 5 million people inhabiting The Republic of Liberia, a country on the West African coast. English is the official language, but over 20 indigenous languages are spoken, representing the numerous ethnic groups who make up more than 95% of the population. The country’s capital and largest city is Monrovia, with more than 20% of the population living there. Liberia was the first African republic to proclaim its independence, and is Africa’s first and oldest modern republic. CIYWR in Liberia In order to maximize our impact, CIYWR has partnered with Christian leaders and organizations in country for all of our evangelistic and relief efforts. We are grateful for these partnerships and enjoy our return, to see how Faith and Works grew in our absence. As much progress as is made, it always feels like there is so much more to do. Which is why we return.

But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead? You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only. James 2: 20,24
